Grilling Your Pizza

It’s fast and easy to cook a Home Run Inn pizza on the grill.

Follow the instructions below and recreate the Home Run Inn pizzeria taste in your own backyard.

Remember: All grills cook differently so be sure to keep an eye on your pizza as it cooks. You may need to adjust the time and temperature to get your desired results.

Gas Grill Instructions

Preheat to medium direct heat (400 degrees F) and place the frozen pizza directly onto the center of the grill.

Ultra Thin Pizzas: With all burners on, cook pizza with lid closed for 6-8 minutes. Rotate pizza halfway and cook with lid closed for a final 6-8 minutes.

Classic & Signature Pizzas: Set the two outside burners on medium/medium-high heat and the middle turned to off or low heat. Cook pizza with lid closed for 12-15 minutes.  Rotate pizza halfway and cook with lid closed for a final 12-15 minutes.

Charcoal Grill Instructions

Place 25-30 briquettes on the outside of the grill to create indirect heat. Place the frozen pizza directly onto the center of the grill. (Don’t place your pizza directly above briquettes—it will burn!)

Ultra Thin Pizzas: Cook with lid closed for 6-8 minutes. Rotate pizza halfway and cook with lid closed for a final 6-8 minutes.

Classic & Signature Pizzas: Cook pizza with lid closed for 12-15 minutes. Rotate pizza halfway, and cook with lid closed for a final 12-15 minutes.
