Home Run Inn began in 1923, when the winning run from a nearby baseball game shattered the front window of Mary and Vincent Grittani’s newly purchased tavern.
In the late 1940’s, Mary and her son-in-law Nick Perrino began making homemade pizzas in the Home Run Inn kitchen. Slicing the pizzas into small square-shaped pieces, they served it fresh, hot, and free to bar patrons.
Today, the Perrino family is still at it. With eight Chicagoland pizzerias and a full line of premium frozen pizzas, Home Run Inn proudly brings handmade, all-natural pizzas to families all over America.
