2000 - Present

2002
The Home Run Inn Pizzeria in Arlington Heights is closed and moves to Addison, IL.

Home Run Inn partners with Jay Williams to start distribution company Power Play Distributors.

2003 - Home Run Inn goes deep dish
Home Run Inn introduces a new product to its line of frozen pizzas—a deep dish pizza that bears the Perrino family name.

2004 - A neighborhood hub
Home Run Inn builds a full commercial center on Chicago’s Archer Avenue. The center includes a Home Run Inn pizzeria on the corner, a sports rehab center, a gym, a Congressman office, an Alderman office, and a bank.

2005 - The legacy continues
Loretta Perrino, daughter of the original Home Run Inn founders, passes away at 87.

Later this year, Nielsen data reports that Home Run Inn is the #1 selling frozen pizza in the Chicagoland market.

2006 - Expansion of the Woodridge Plant
Home Run Inn expands its USDA plant in Woodridge from 44,000 square feet to 64,000 square feet.

2007 - Building a home in Bolingbrook
Home Run Inn builds its second strip center on the corner of Boughton and Weber Road in Bolingbrook. The center includes a pizzeria, a sports rehab center, and several retail sites.

2008 - New ideas, new pizzas
To celebrate Halloween, the first Home Run Inn Video Challenge invites fans to create two-minute horror videos featuring Home Run Inn pizza.

This same year, Home Run Inn introduces two new frozen pizza lines: Signature pizzas that feature gourmet toppings and Ultra Thin pizzas for those who prefer a crisp, crunchy crust.

2009 - More than just great pizza
Home Run Inn partners with Stanger Vineyards to create a line of house wines sold exclusively at Jewel-Osco stores.

Meanwhile, Home Run Inn Premium Pastas hit stores, and customers get to enjoy the pizzeria’s classic restaurant-style pasta dinners at home.

2010 - Home Run Inn today
Bellwood Pizzeria moves to Hillside
Melrose Pizza Express moves to Melrose Park

To this day, Home Run Inn is still family-owned and operated out of Chicago. With eight Chicagoland pizzerias, two USDA frozen foods plants, a distribution company, and frozen pizzas sold in twenty states, Home Run Inn continues its legacy among families in Chicagoland and beyond.
