Asparagus Pizza

Pizza topped with asparagus and tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 12″ HRI Classic Cheese Pizza
  • 3 oz of asparagus
  • 4 oz of grape tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of grated Romano cheese
  • ½ cup of basil pesto
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450˚F
  2. Remove pizza from all packaging
  3. Cut off the ends of the asparagus
  4. Halve the grape tomatoes
  5. Toss the asparagus and tomatoes in olive oil and salt
  6. Sauté the asparagus in pan until soft
  7. Add lemon juice and a pinch of salt to the pesto and mix
  8. Top pizza with asparagus
  9. Place grape tomatoes
  10. Place pizza in the oven directly on the oven rack and bake for approximately 15-18 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown
  11. Sprinkle on 2 tbsp. of Romano cheese onto pizza
  12. Drizzle 1 tsp of lemon pesto onto the cooked pizza
  13. Cut into squares and enjoy 🙂
