Caprese Pizza

Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 15-20 min | Cook Temp: 450°

Pizza topped with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, and balsamic


  • 12″ HRI Classic Cheese Pizza
  • 1 medium tomato, vine-ripe, heirloom, or beefsteak
  • 10-12 basil leaves
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp balsamic reduction, store-bought or homemade


  1. Preheat the oven to 450˚F
  2. Remove pizza from all packaging
  3. Slice the mozzarella and tomatoes into thin disks. Roll the basil leaves together, and slice into fine strips (chiffonade).Note: for extra juicy tomatoes, pat the tomato slices lightly with a paper towel to remove excess moisture before arranging them on your pizza
  4. Arrange the tomatoes and mozzarella slices evenly over the pizza.
  5. Bake directly on the oven rack for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown, and the mozzarella is melted
  6. Just before serving, drizzle the pizza with balsamic reduction, and sprinkle with the basil strips
  7. Cut into squares, and enjoy 🙂
