Spring Prosciutto Pizza

Pizza topped with proscuitto, peas, asparagus and other toppings

Ingredients

  • 12″ HRI Ultra Thin Four Cheese Pizza
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 4 oz Asparagus, bottoms trimmed, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 3 oz Frozen peas, thawed
  • ½ tsp Lemon zest
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 6 Slices Prosciutto
  • ¼ cup Shaved parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil (or truffle oil)
  • Cracked black pepper
 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450˚F
  2. Remove pizza from all packaging
  3. Place pizza directly on the oven rack and bake for approximately 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown
  4. While the pizza is baking, heat 2tsp olive oil in a skillet on high heat
  5. Add cut asparagus and salt and cook, stirring occasionally until the asparagus begins to brown
  6. Add peas and cook for 30 seconds longer. Turn off heat
  7. Add lemon zest and lemon juice. Toss to coat
  8. Distribute asparagus and peas on top of cooked pizza, then drape prosciutto slices over
  9. Top with shaved parmesan, drizzle with olive oil (or truffle oil for extra decadence), cracked black pepper to taste
  10. Cut into squares and enjoy 🙂
