Veggie Lover’s with Pesto Pizza

Veggie Pizza topped with pesto


  • 12” Classic HRI Veggie Lovers Pizza
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup pine nuts
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup fresh basil, packed
  • Generous pinch sea salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 450˚F
  2. Remove pizza from all packaging
  3. Place pizza directly on the oven rack and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the pesto. Using a mortar and pestle, pound and grind the pine nuts into a smooth paste. Add garlic and grind into a smooth paste
  5. Next, add basil and sea salt and pound and grind until the leaves are finely torn
  6. Finally, add parmesan and olive oil, and combine into a smooth sauce. Taste and add salt as needed
  7. Once the pizza is cooked, remove from the oven, spoon pesto evenly over the pizza
  8. Cut into squares, and enjoy 🙂
